Vanita Rosa is a Parisian-inspired brand born from a love of color, femininity, and exceptional fabrics.
After beginning her career in fashion at Thierry Mugler on Avenue Montaigne and later directing the Dolce & Gabbana boutique in Paris, founder Valérie developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, bold silhouettes, and luxurious materials.
The brand was born in St. Barth in 2002, almost by chance, when Valérie transformed a simple linen scarf into an asymmetrical top. What began as a personal creation quickly evolved into a distinctive and sought-after style.
Over time, the St. Barth boutique has become a discreet destination for an international clientele, appreciated for its unique pieces and refined aesthetic.
Today, Vanita Rosa is known for its vibrant spirit and feminine elegance, crafted from noble fabrics such as Italian silk, linen, and Calais lace. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and made in Paris, celebrating French savoir-faire and timeless allure.
The name Vanita Rosa reflects both personal history and a love of pink — a color that embodies the brand’s joyful and feminine energy.

Founded by designer Valérie Bourdin, the house was born from a desire to create a feminine wardrobe that is both timeless and effortless. In our ateliers, every garment is crafted with meticulous attention to fabric, cut and finish. We work with noble materials such as linen, silk and delicate lace, always searching for the perfect drape and movement. Our signature remains the exquisite Dentelle de Calais, a symbol of French textile heritage.
